I was a little hungover today not gonna lie! Was quite a BIG NIGHT beers and champagne were flowing on Sunday. So I decided to put an amateur video of the concert together with iMovie to keep the mind off the pain, quite enjoyed compiling it. Its a little blurry but so was i - Enjoy.

What a killer venue Val De Vie is, electric skies, soft green grass safely snuggled between the Paarl Mountains. Cant wait for the next one here are some happy snaps!

GHANA FAN & MALI PLAYER WARMS UP BEFORE GAME AT THE KUMASI STADIUM

It was not one way Ghanian traffic as was predicted before the game between Ghana and Mali, but home advantage can sometimes create an heir of complacency and Ghana were 1 - 0 down in the first half as Mali took the lead. Final score was 2-2 but Ghana could quite easily have lost this game.

Only two days in Ghana and it does’nt take one that long to figure out whats bigger than sliced white bread in this country, you guessed it football and the ghanian stars that represent their country.

The so called “Black Stars” is the name given to the national football team who play Mali today in the final world cup qualifier. Ghana qualified some weeks back and so this game makes no difference to the standings, but no one wants to loose on home ground especially when Africans all over the continent are pinning their hopes on Ghana and Ivory Coast doing well at next years world cup in South Africa.

The biggest star in the team is Michael Essien whose fame is heavily linked to his success at premiership club Chelsea. In Ghana he is a Super Star and the crowds roar approval everytime he touches the ball or nets a goal at open training sessions that take place befre the game. What is admirable is the connection the players have with the fans and the availability of players to the public and the media. 

Kick off is only hours away and i am super excited to see the game and the fan hype which is said to be unbelievable more pictures and posts to follow after the game.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates derby day game is something that brings South Africa to a standstill.It was a day of mediocre soccer but you would not have thought so by the reaction of the fans. As your stereotypical white boy white boy living in South Africa I should have really been down at the Currie Cup final in Pretoria not sitting in the middle of Soweto watching Soccer. Saying that I would not have wanted to be anywhere else. Pumping House music with live rapper stars from Tkzee, Super friendly and excited screaming fans from both camps and an experience not to be forgotten. Here are some of the scenes. 

I have just returned from the magical island of IBO. Ibo is situated on the border of Mozambique and Tanzania, it is part of the Quirimbas island archipelago. Its very remote and you can only get there by small plane. I was there to photograph soccer but couldnt help but snap the dhows that float majestically past on the beautiful Indian Ocean. Here are some dhow images that dot the shores and horizons of Ibo.  Thanks must go to Ibo Isalnd lodge who made my stay and experience a very memorable one, click for website.

Its great shooting something that you normally never shoot, especially when its a beautiful yacht off the coast of Spain. Its not hard really as this boat has all the elements that bode well for super pictures. Clean lines, Classic appearance and Good Looking crew.

The North Coast of Mallorca also provides a stunning and dramatic backdrop for pictures, and when BOLERO let her sails out it was a spectacular site. Not only was the exterior a joy to shoot but the interior with its polished old money feel came out nicely in the images.
